First Day of School

Today was the First Day of School.  Kids were excited and so was I.  Outfits were carefully selected, as well as backpacks and lunch bags.  The first day of school is a Big deal in our house.  I now have a big 3rd grader, kindergarten and a preschooler.  Wow where does time go?  The last two years I have made a big deal about the first day of school.  I do this because I want my kids to be excited about learning and know how important education is.  I cook their favorite breakfast, hung decorations and print signs for them to hold for pictures.  I also bake cupcakes to look like apples for their after school snack.  All thanks to Pinterest!!  They really seem to enjoy it.  I know that if I wasn’t a stay at home mom I would Never be able to pull this off. lol   Here’s to a happy school year!!
