How to Transition Your Summer Wardrobe into Fall

I am slowly transitioning my summer wardrobe into Fall. When it’s neither hot nor cold it can sometimes be challenging on what to wear. I am sharing some tips and ideas to help you make this transition.

Tips on how to transition your summer wardrobe into fall:

Add Layers

You can wear your summer dresses into fall by adding layers. Try adding a denim jacket, cardigan, or button-down shirt. You can even layer a summer dress with a sweater over the top.

Add Warm and Rich Colors

Adding warm and rich colors just say fall to me. Try adding colors like burnt orange, brick, sienna, and amber to your wardrobe.

Add Accessories

By adding accessories can really change the look of an outfit. Some accessory items could be:

  • Hat
  • Belt
  • Scarf
  • Cute Bag
  • Tights
  • Booties or tall boots
  • Statement Jewelry

I paired a sleeveless cami with a pair of denim jeans and sandals. You could also add a sweater cardigan for cooler days. Or days when you might be in a cooler builder or office. I am always cold.

Don’t pack away your denim shorts yet. As we transition into fall I like to wear a sweater with a pair of denim shorts and sandals. You could even wear a pair of booties is you so desire.

Staying home is more important now than ever befor Staying home is more important now than ever before. Being sick or having a sick child looks a little different these days. The last place anyone wants to be is at a doctor's office sitting in a waiting room with other ill people. Now because of @ssm_health virtual visits, you can see a virtual doctor from the safety and comfort of your home by using your mobile device or computer. No insurance needed and the cost is only $25. It's so convenient. I have a full blog post sharing how I use it. See the direct link in my bio for more information.
