Monogram DIY

I love anything and everythig that is monogramed. There is just something about it. So I did a DIY poject which was fairly easy. My girls even helped. Claire thought we needed some music so we jammed to The Backyardigans. I think the song was fitting. 🙂
First I sanded the monogram to smooth it out a little.
Here are the supplies I used.
Next I painted it with black shinny paint. Something I picked up at Wal-Mart. Here are my little helpers.

After it dried I took burlap ribbon and tied it to the top. I then hung it over my headboard. That was it. I really liked how it turned out.
