My 5 Minute Beach-to-dinner look that gives me a glowy, sunkissed look with minimal makeup and maximum glow.
Vacation is about doing less, not more. That includes makeup. After a full day at the beach, the last thing I want is a 20-step routine before dinner. I want something quick that still photographs well, because let’s be honest, vacation is prime photo time.
I skip foundation and concealer completely for this look. Just a few products layered the right way to give you that glowing, beachy look we all want. Here is exactly what’s in my make-up bag that I use for a quick easy beach dinner.
Skin Glow
I have talked about this product before, and I still use it daily. It’s a 3-in-1 primer with SPF 30 that primes and protects while giving my skin an instant, soft-focus glow. I wear it alone or before applying makeup. They gave me a code for my readers to save 15%. Use code AMY-15
Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 40 in Golden Hour
This is step one every single time. It’s my tinted sunscreen and glow base in one, so I’m protecting my skin and adding a little luminous sunkissed look before I even think about makeup. This is a must for me.
Kopari Sun Shield Glow Sheer Stick
This goes on next for another layer of sheer, dewy color. It’s a stick, so it’s fast. No brushes needed, just blend it in with your fingers. I also swipe a little on my shoulders, upper arms, and chest area for an extra glow everywhere the light hits.
Victoria Beckham Foundation Drops
Victoria Beckham Foundation Drops is technically a lightweight serum foundation, but this is how I love wearing it. Instead of applying them all over my face, I tap a few drops onto my cheekbones, forehead, and anywhere I want a little extra warmth and glow. On days I want an even softer look, I’ll mix a drop into my skin glow primer for a fresh, radiant finish. Yes, it’s a splurge. Yes, it’s worth it. A little goes a long way, and mine has lasted forever.
Gucci Bronzer
This Gucci Bronzer powder is everything and more. I dust a light layer over my cheekbones and forehead for a natural, sun-kissed glow. It’s effortless, never looks muddy, and is hands down the best bronzer I’ve tried.
Blush
A little blush on the apples of my cheeks adds a pop of color. This is the one I have been reaching for.
Brows
A quick fill-in with a brow pencil, followed by a swipe of clear or tinted brow gel, finishes the look and makes a big difference in photos.
Mascara
Adding a coat or two ties everything together and takes you from beach day to dinner ready.
That’s it. Under five minutes, and this is the makeup that gives you that glowing beach look we all want, without ever feeling like you’re wearing much at all.
