My Weight loss journey

After many years of the yo-yo diets, diet pills and anything else I have finally figure out what works.  Clean eating and exercising.  I have been doing the Paleo diet for seven weeks now and have lost seven pounds.  In case you don’t know what the Paleo diet is here is some information.  The Paleo Diet is an effort to eat like we used to back in the day…WAY back in the day.  If a caveman couldn’t eat it, neither can you.  This means anything we could hunt or find – meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, regional veggies, and seeds.  And Paleo is not for everyone.  But clean healthy food is.  I did a vlog explaining a little more about my weight loss journey.  Not eating carbs, dairy and sweets really has not been too difficult.  Don’t get me wrong, there are times when my kids are eating pizza I wish I could just have a piece.  I then quickly remember how awful I feel when I eat that stuff.  That is all it takes. 🙂  It’s a lifestyle change.  Nothing more.

I will say that if you are determined enough you can do Anything!!  The mind is without a doubt your most powerful asset.  Everything you do begins with a thought.  Positive thinking and and having a strong desire will take you farther then you can imagine.  So if you are wanting lose weight put your mind to it and you can achieve that goal.  If you want to eat healthier, it is the same concept.  You and Only You are in control!  And remember it takes time!  Do not get discouraged.  Find fitness groups you can be a apart of.  Either in your gym or with social media.  I Love Love Instagram!!  Such positive motivated people who are always encouraging.  At least that is how my experience has been.  I have met several fitness friends through Instagram and FB.

I am so passionate about health and fitness and I want to help other moms like me.  I think I may start adding a few workout videos to my blog as well as just posting some everyday exercises you can do from your own home.  Things that I do and know have worked for me.  If you don’t already follow me on FB and Instagram do so for daily encouraging  positive quotes I post.  YOU can do this if you want it!   If you have any suggestions or a workout you would like to see please contact me and let me know.  I hope my story has helped you in some way.
