Spring always sounds so simple until you get dressed. One day it’s 40 degrees in the morning and 70 by the afternoon, and suddenly your favorite winter pieces feel too heavy, but your spring dresses feel too soon. That “in-between” season is where most of us get stuck. So instead of overthinking it, I pulled together some easy spring outfit ideas that work for real life, school drop-offs, coffee runs, lunch, errands, and most importantly, unpredictable weather. Each look is built around simple layering, classic pieces, and a little bit of color to make your outfits feel fresh again.

Spring Wardrobe Staples I’m always reaching for:

1. Chambray dress or top: An easy throw-on piece that always feels like spring.
2. Lightweight jacket or blazer: Perfect for layering on cool mornings and adding just enough structure.
3. Cardigan: A simple way to add color without overdoing it, and still stay warm on cooler days.
4. A simple white or black tee: The piece I reach for over and over for layering.
5. Button-down shirt Classic, polished, and always easy to style.
6. Classic denim: The base piece that works with everything.
7. White and ecru denim: I own both and love how different they feel. White is fresh and bright, while ecru gives a softer, more natural look.
8. Ballet flats or loafers: Comfortable, classic, and easy for everyday.
9. Structured handbag: Pulls everything together and makes even simple outfits feel more polished.
10. Accessories: Belts, jewelry, sunglasses, or a silk scarf for the finishing touch that makes it all feel styled.
