A Cookie Exchange Party is a great way to spend time with friends and family as well as getting to try new cookie recipes. That’s a win in my book. I am going to show you how to host your very own cookie exchange party.

Use Rubbermaid TakeAlongs for all of your guest to use at your party. The Holiday TakeAlongs come in limited edition red, green and prints for the holidays and will be available in-store: 10/29 – 12/24. You can find them at Walmart on the end cap. The Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are perfect to use because of the Quik Clik Seal™ which will keep the cookies secure and fresh. Plus they are freezer safe which is perfect for any leftover cookies.

Next invite some of your friends and or family and have them bring one dozen already baked cookies to share. You can always have them bring more. It’s entirely up to you.

Use simple decor to decorate your tablescape. I started out with a white tablecloth and added a plaid table runner to the center. I then used garland, Christmas lights and a small Christmas tree for a festive look. These were things I already had at home. Use cake stands and serving platters to display all of the cookies. I also added black and white gingham bows to the cake stands. If you don’t know already, I am all about the details. I also wanted to serve milk because milk and cookies just go together. Am I right?! I used glass milk bottles with plaid paper straws. Remember little details go a long way.

Once your guest arrive display the cookies on the cake stands and platters. This makes it easy for all of your guest to see all the delicious cookies.

You will want each guest to share their cookie recipe. I created a free printable recipe card for you to use. Just download and print. Have the recipe cards ready to use once your guest arrive. Depending on how many guest you have, you may need several for each person. This way, no cookie will be forgotten. Click here to download the recipe card.

Love your selection of cookies, and those festive, decorated ones might just be my fave! I love the idea of the recipe-sharing, too! [client]
